The rescue situation this year is dire. Each day, new arrivals, many pregnant and with major health concerns stress the rescue both financially and emotionally.

We are an informal committee of volunteers who have come forward to raise funds in order to offset some of these costs. Last year we raised $25,000 through the bottle drive, online auction, benefit concert and silent auction. This year, with your help, we hope to reach $40,000 through various initiatives.
